We've added USPS Priority Mail as a shipping option for packages shipped in the United States. In most cases It's cheaper than other ground shipping methods(3-7 days) and you get it within 2-3 business days anywhere in the U.S., saving you time and money!

Our 15% off Cyber Monday was such a hit we've decided to extend it until the end of November, which happens to be Wednesday...

Use the same code as Cyber Monday
CB15 in the Promo code box during check out. Better hurry before Rob catches this. He might put a stop to it, because you know how he is about discount codes!

If you're not sure what to get him, give us a call and we can help you out. You can always buy him an Atomicmods Gift card and let him pick out what he wants! Time is running out so don't wait!

Seeing as how were really just a bunch of tech geeks selling R.C. products, Rob though it would be cool to hook up our web cam to the "Live Cam" iPhone Application. If you have an iPhone you can download this app, view, and control our web cam (as well as a few thousand others) live via your phone. Once you've loaded the app you can find our cam under "People". We should be the first cam.

Here's a couple of screen shots from Robs iPhone.

After spending quite a long time in "XMODS out of stock parts limbo"  the command logic head light & Tail light kit is back in stock!  We don't know when Radio Shack is going to decide to stop making these again, so I would pick one up if you can.

We get a lot of phone calls from folks wondering if this certain strange part or configuration will work on their XMOD or Mini-z. We can pretty much help you with any question you have, but as good as we are here at AtomicMods we still don't have the answer for everything! (I know, shocking isn't it?)

If you're looking to chat with like-minded RC guys, searching for a hard-to-find XMOD part, or looking to share ideas, photos and opinions on that XMODS Rock Crawler you've been working on...XMODRC is the place to be!  Click on the photo below for a link to the Forum. You can also find a link to the forum in the site menu on the upper left corner of our site.

Good news for our international customers!

We have added an inexpensive "Flat Rate" shipping option.  If your order can fit in a 8" x 5" x 2" (200 x 130 x 43mm) box, and weighs less than 4 lbs (1.8 kg), shipping will only cost $13.50.  We are really excited about this new development.   It is a huge step forward that cuts many countries' shipping costs by half or more.

As much as we strive for perfection on our website, sometimes we just fall short.  So there may be instances where items in your order do not qualify for this cheaper shipping, but you still will be presented with the Flat Rate shipping as a choice.  If you choose it, we will have to charge you for the difference to ship it.  However we will make an effort to notify you beforehand.

Be sure you subscribe here. We're starting a promotion next month for our newsletter subscribers to give them a chance to win some free RC stuff!  That is, if you like free R.C. gear.

The internet will be down this weekend on Saturday May 16, from 11:00PM CST until 7:00AM Sunday.  Well, maybe not the entire internet.  Actually just our site will be down.  I know what you're thinking...might as well be the whole internet.

As it turns out, our ISP is moving a fiber line due to some construction, so we'll be offline for a few hours.  Although the outage will have nothing to do with our server, site protocol says we should still have a picture to illustrate, so here it is:

If you've been on the site this morning and it seemed a bit slow or quirky, we're having some network issues.  Actually, a dump truck hit a fiber line at our ISP in the middle of the night.  Likely story, right?  Seriously, that really is what happened.  We can't make this stuff up.

Our IT department is "working on a solution" and hopefully it will be running smoothly again soon.  In the meantime, we're going to Chotzky's.
