We've added USPS Priority Mail as a shipping option for packages shipped in the United States. In most cases It's cheaper than other ground shipping methods(3-7 days) and you get it within 2-3 business days anywhere in the U.S., saving you time and money!

Just like Wonder Woman with her invisible jet, catch the other racers off guard as you slip by them unnoticed with this new invisibility body from Losi for the Micro SCT!  Or you can just choose your own paint scheme and stand out from the box stock crowd. Personally I like the first option...

Don't forget to pick up a new set of stickers for your freshly painted body.

Get the body here, and the stickers here.

So this week we celebrate the 4th year that our beloved Robert "Frank" Rocha has been with us. It is often a bit crazy around here, and Frank is starting to show signs of emotional instability, so we are not sure how much longer he will be a contributing member of society. But we love him, and he loves you.

Frank is passionate about the hobby, and a hard worker. And if you have ever interacted with Frank on the phone or via email, you know how much he cares about taking good care of his customers.

Thanks Frank for all you do, from the entire AtomicMods Team!

As soon as I heard the news about the Losi Micro Crawler, I couldn't wait to get my hands one! It's really exiting (to me) as a scale/off-road enthusiast to see the area of the hobby i enjoy so much, expand into all the separate scales and classes.

I had all these little scale truck designs going through my head about which 1:25 scale model kit I was going to buy to turn my micro crawler into a micro "scaler". I think I had three bodies on my work bench before I even had the crawler!

This has turned out to be one fun little truck that I can pretty much run wherever I want. Check out the video below for a close up look at my custom micro Hummer H2T.

Seeing as how were really just a bunch of tech geeks selling R.C. products, Rob though it would be cool to hook up our web cam to the "Live Cam" iPhone Application. If you have an iPhone you can download this app, view, and control our web cam (as well as a few thousand others) live via your phone. Once you've loaded the app you can find our cam under "People". We should be the first cam.

Here's a couple of screen shots from Robs iPhone.

Let it snow! We're enjoying a VERY rare snow fall here in Houston Texas today, seeing as how we're 40 minutes from the Gulf of Mexico!  This is the earliest we've had a trace of snow in our city EVER in recorded weather history! Crazy I Know...

We have to deal with 100 degree temperatures in the summer, Hurricanes, and now snow!

Here's a shot of the crew out enjoying the weather.  From left to right, Mo, Frank & Jay.

In our quest for insane speed out of our 1/16 scale E-Revo we have burned up the stock speed control and set two batteries on fire. Here's a sneak peek photo of whats going on with our mini E-Revo Monster!  Video coming soon.

The new Traxxas Mini E-Revo has supplied us with some great filming opportunities, and you can bet this won't be the last Mini E-Revo video we produce.

This latest video features the Traxxas mini beast hitting a ramp at over 40MPH and back flipping over two Jeeps! You gotta see it to believe it! Click on the photo below to check out the video link.

I hope you enjoy the Team Losi LOSB1481B 1.9 Mini Rock Basher Tire video review, because we had lots of fun making it.  I'm not sure if we'll ask Homer back for another product review. If we do, we'll make sure he eats something before getting in front of the camera! You will find the product link here: http://www.atomicmods.com/Products/Team-Losi-LOSB1481B-19-Mini-Rock-Basher-Tires__14861.aspx

Begin Message Broadcast Alpha 729-98774-6754G: It is the mission of AtomicMods, to assimilate all sentient beings into our collective recreational activities. You are to proceed immediately to http://www.atomicmods.com/ and secure Micro RC products for immediate implantation.

Mini-Z implants are small and quite painless, however for greater compliance, consider Axial SCX10 or Tamiya CR01 structure grafts. 3Racing Winches are also acceptable to the collective and useful for, well, winching. Mayhem Engineering 1.9 Seven Aluminum rotational discs are very pleasurable, and brushless neurological enhancements increase reaction times by 82.9%.

Comply now to avoid long lines at the surgical bays.

In a hostile confrontation with a belligerent nail gun, Rob sustained an injury to his left thumb.

Moments before the mêlée began.

Yeowch.  That smarts.

Sorry, Rob.  Out of suckers.

The doctor says he should be off IV fluids and back to solid foods by New Years.  While we wait, here are some pics of our new shop...

You think the last four words of the National Anthem are "Gentleman start your engines!"....

You name your twin boys Jack Daniel & Jim Beam....

You regularly see kinfolk on "America's Most Wanted." ....

If the earrings you gave your wife for Christmas double as fishing lures.....

Your kids trip over the Christmas lights while hunting for Easter eggs......

You've ever cut your grass and found a car......

You go Christmas shopping for your mom, sister, and girlfriend, and you only need to buy one gift.......

You own a Waffle House credit card....

However, if you look like this, there is no question about it, YOU ARE A REDNECK!

John Shanklin, the AtomicMods Operations Manager sports his (temporary) new look.

Maurice demonstrates proper Whale Flop technique. This is especially important when filling orders from low shelves when you need to get up close and personal. Maurice is a real pro.

"Rob, we have a blog now," John tells me. "Great", I say, "but what are we supposed to do with a blog?" John thoughtfully puts his finger on his chin and says, "Well we write about what we are thinking, feeling or whatever random thoughts we might have. Everybody is doing it and it's really cool, like polyester used to be." "So I write about whatever is on my mind?", I ask trepidatiously. "Pretty much." John says. “So I could talk about what it’s like to be such a babe magnet?” suggests Rob.

“Well that is not exactly what I had in mind, I was thinking more along the lines of new products & behind the scenes info about AtomicMods.com," counters John.  “Well that is all well and good, but I am sure our customers would like to hear about proper wood selection for a babe-beat-back-stick so it doesn’t splinter on you,”  insists Rob.  “Maybe we should stick to topics such as new and upcoming products as well as special projects we are working on.” says John.  “Yeah, yeah, yeah, that’s great, but I am sure our customers want to know how to work out so you don’t get tired of swinging your babe-beat-back-stick for hours on end”, persists Rob. “That sounds very interesting Rob, but I am pretty sure they would rather hear about more relevant topics, like the 2008 PN Racing Mini-Z World Cup that you just got back from and served as announcer.” pleads John. Rob grins wide and says, “Oh yeah, that was a sweet event, babes were everywhere!” “Smack!" John slaps his forehead in frustration.
